Exciting News: WPDT is Rebranding to Help You and Your Dog Live YOUR Best Life!

We’ve got some big news to share! After much reflection and planning, we’re thrilled to announce that Whispering Peaks Dog Training (WPDT) is embarking on an exciting rebranding journey. This change represents the evolution of our services and the deepening of our mission to support adventurous dog owners in creating confident, well-behaved companions who are ready for anything!

Why We’re Rebranding

At WPDT, we believe that life with your dog should be an adventure. Whether you're hitting the trails, taking off-leash hikes, or working alongside your dog in meaningful ways, we want to empower you and your dog to live your best lives – together, wherever the trail may lead.

I’ve also realised that balancing everything is key. After living and breathing WPDT 24/7 for the past couple of years, I’ve returned to working a few days a week at our local post office. This decision helps me create a more regular income (I desperately need a new vehicle!) and gives me something else to focus on outside of dog training.

Don’t worry – my availability for WPDT will still be mostly during weekday evenings and weekends, but this adjustment helps me avoid burnout and stay excited about what I do.

Our new focus at WPDT centres around:

• Adventure-Ready Dogs: Helping dogs and their owners thrive in outdoor environments through specialised adventure training.

• Genetic Fulfilment: Ensuring dogs’ natural drives are met with purpose-driven training, keeping them balanced and well-behaved.

• New Services on the Horizon: While we aren’t revealing all the details just yet, keep an eye out for exciting new offerings related to specialised training that could take your dog’s skills to the next level.

  
  

What’s Changing

We’re taking this opportunity to bring our services in line with the adventure and outdoor focus that truly represents the heart of WPDT. Here’s a glimpse of what you can expect:

• Adventure Dog Training:

  We’re expanding our dog training programs to include adventure-readiness training, focusing on off-leash reliability and group hikes designed to prepare your dog for any outdoor challenge. From trail etiquette to impulse control, your dog will be ready for whatever your next adventure brings.

• Workshops and Online Courses:

  We’ll continue offering genetic fulfilment workshops to help working breed owners channel their dogs’ energy and drive. Plus, we’re launching online training tutorials, allowing dog owners to build a solid training foundation from anywhere.

Our New Look

Along with the rebrand comes a fresh new look! We’re updating our logo to reflect the adventurous spirit of WPDT, with imagery that speaks to the mountains, trails, and partnership between dog and owner. You’ll also notice a new colour palette that brings warmth and energy, and an updated website designed to make navigating our services even easier.
